Other companies have been working to bring Android 14 to their flagship devices and Samsung is one of the companies to adopt the latest offering from Google. According to the latest findings, Samsung could release One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 on its flagship smartphones sooner than expected.
Samsung started working on a One UI 6.0 for quite some time now and after Google's official release of Android 14, the company could offer its rendition of the platform soon. Samsung was one of the slowest companies to release the latest updates but it has gradually improved its way to become one of the first companies to adopt the latest software with its custom tweaks.
Twitter user Tarun Vats discovered new One UI 6.0 updates based on One UI 6.0 with a BWJG tag. The tag suggests that the updates are stable and ready to be released following the tests. In Apple terminology, the company is currently testing the release candidate builds of One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. The user also discovered another beta build which will potentially be the last one before the company officially announces the platform for Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The company launched its One UI 6.0 beta based on Android 14 in August similar to last year. The company is expanding its beta testing program to additional regions which will make the process much faster than before as more developers work to fine-tune the platform.
