The latest update brings a plethora of new additions to the table, including AirDrop over the internet, Music Favorite option, and much more. Furthermore, the update also brings a plethora of bug fixes and performance enhancements to the table.
iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 is finally available for download on all compatible iPhone and iPad models. If you have been waiting for the build for a while, you can download and install it over the air right now. if you are not familiar, head over to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Apple was previously expected to release iOS 17.1 yesterday. However, the company saw fit to send out invites for its Scary Fast event. Nonetheless, iOS 17.1 brings a plethora of new additions to the table that will make the platform more stable to use. Other than this, Apple has also released some prominent features that it announced at its WWDC 2023 event. For instance, you now have the option to send files through AirDrop over the Internet. The feature will come into action when one individual walks away while the transfer process is underway.
