Zack Snyder's Justice League may be four hours long, yet somehow the director left out very valuable footage, especially now that fans are finding out exactly how well Green Lantern fits inside the film’s squarish aspect ratio.
It’s not as if DC's non-canon Justice League didn’t feature any Green Lanterns, after all, a couple of the movie's flashback and flash-forward scenes do briefly show two characters wielding power rings, but they’re the lesser-known Yalan Gur and Kilowog, with the latter suffering the worst of fates. However, as fans then found out, Snyder had plans to include John Stewart as his Justice League'sGreen Lantern, even choosing actor Wayne T. Carr for the role, until Warner Bros. stepped in and got him cut out from the movie because it would interfere with HBO Max's own future Green Lantern series.

Nevertheless, Carr seems to have loved his brief stint as Green Lantern. To demonstrate this, the actor has become a staunch supporter on Twitter for the studio to both «Release The Ayer Cut» and "Restore The SnyderVerse" with a steady amount of DCEU-related posts. That happens to include what is now the absolute best look fans have gotten of Carr as Green Lantern, with the tweet captioning a gorgeous close-up shot of Stewart with “Give fans what they want.”
While it does require some imagination, placing Carr's Green Lantern inside the dark world conceived by Snyder in his film is not that hard. The shade of green chosen for the shot would seemingly blend in quite well with the rest of his Justice League'scolor palette.
