Stephen Cognetti and Terror Films Releasing have revealed the teaser trailer for the fifth entry in the found footage horror series.
The latest film is set to go into production this November, and Shudder aims for an October 2025 release date.
Cognetti returns to write and direct Hell House LLC: Lineage, with Joe Bandeli set to produce. Terror Films Releasing CEO Joe Dain and COO Jim Klock will act as executive producers.
There are currently no plot or casting details on the movie. Still, in keeping with previous entries, it will mix the backstories of various characters with a selection of new characters and storylines.
The teaser shows sights familiar to those who have watched previous entries, especially last year’s Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor. Given the multiple shots of the manor in the snow, there’s a hint we could be getting a winter-set entry.
Writer and Director Stephen Cognetti first brought the Hell House LLC series to the screen in 2015. The found footage movie’s story began Five years after an unexplained malfunction caused the death of 15 tour-goers and staff on the opening night of a Halloween haunted house tour. Later, a documentary crew travels back to the scene of the tragedy to find out what really happened.
Through the following movies in 2018, 2019, and 2023, Cognetti further fleshed out the backstory of the first film’s events.
Umbrella Entertainment is releasing aHell House LLC Collection on Blu-ray on October 9, 2024.
