Apple is all set to roll out the latest operating software iPadOS 16 this month. While iOS 16 has already been rolled out along with iPhone 14 series, the tech giant has announced that the release of iPadOS 16 will be delayed until October. So, it can be expected to roll out on October 24 along with new iPads and Macs. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has shared that iPadOS 16.1 will be released later this month in time for the new product announcements. Check out what you can expect from the next Apple .
According to Gurman's report, iPadOS 16.1 is expected to be released on Oct. 24th. The journalist shared that the tech giant wants to make sure that the new OS update for iPad comes with fixes for all the major bugs that have been criticized due to instabilities experienced in its beta phase.
Gurman notes that the update hints at new products arriving soon. Apple has already scheduled the release of its Q4 2022 earnings for October 27. And keeping in trend, expectations are that the company will launch new products in the week of its earnings calls in October.
In 2021, MacBook Pro was announced on October 18 and hit stores a week later on October 26 while the Q4 2021 earnings reports were released two days later on October 28. A few weeks ago, the journalist reported that the new Apple products will be announced with a press release on Apple's websites- Apple Newsroom and Apple.com.
According to rumors, Apple is expected to unveil at least two new iPad models (likely to be 10th-generation iPad). Further, Apple has also plans to upgrade the iPad Pro with the faster M2 chip. Additionally, the company is also rumored to be working on a new Mac mini, as well as an updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with faster variants of the M2
