Hasbro is introducing a line of customizable action figures that will allow fans to turn themselves into toy versions of characters from Star Wars, Marvel, and more. Hasbro distributes action figures, collectibles, and other toys for major franchises like Disney, Power Rangers, Transformers, and more. Now, thanks to advanced technology, fans can become the characters from their favorite films, TV shows, and comics.
Hasbro has collaborated with Formlabs, according to a YouTube video from the technology company, to create their Selfie Series of action figures. After fans asked the company for years to create action figures of themselves, Hasbro's Head of Global Design and Development, Brian Chapman, said that the technology has improved enough to make it a reality.

Hasbro's Selfie Series will allow fans to immortalize themselves in plastic and celebrate their intense fandom. Using the Hasbro Pulse app, fans will scan their faces and be able to dress their avatars up in costumes inspired by their favorite franchises like The Avengers and Ghostbusters. Then, using Formlabs 3D printers, it becomes a one-of-a-kind toy that you can actually play with.
The action figure launch is set for Fall 2022 from Hasbro and they will retail for about $60 each. The figures are unique because they aren't just a generic avatar that somewhat bears the customer's resemblance — it is their spitting image transformed into a classic Hasbro action figure that is familiar to so many fans.
