Vehicles play an important role in the gameplay of Halo Infinite. While many parts of the game require fighting on foot, other areas of both the campaign and multiplayer give players the opportunity to take control of an assortment of UNSC and Covenant vehicles, such as Warthogs, Ghosts, and Wraiths, just to name a few. Recently, one gamer showed off just how powerful the Mongoose, one of the weakest vehicles in the game, could be.
First introduced in the popular Halo 3, the Mongoose is a small ground vehicle that allows players to travel across the map quickly. Unfortunately, this speed comes at the loss of firepower as it does not have any onboard guns. While the series has introduced a modified version of the vehicle called a Gungoose, one player recorded a highlight from a game that suggested that the basic Mongoose was more deadly than previously thought.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as IGSirSleepy shared a highlight from a recent game of Halo Infinite that they had played. Specifically, this clip appeared to happen on the Launch Site map. The action started with a yellow and blue Spartan running towards the same Mongoose as the camera zoomed in on the nearby vehicle. What happened next likely surprised both players.
With little time to lose, the yellow player jumped behind the wheel of the Mongoose mere seconds before their opponent could get there. They then proceeded to start to drive, hitting the blue player in the process. Unexpectedly, the slight impact caused the blue player to instantly die.
