Guild Wars 2 Partners with HelloFresh for a Tyrian Cooking Competition
August 28 marked the 10-year anniversary since the launch of Guild Wars 2. As a part of the ongoing festivities, Guild Wars 2 has partnered with HelloFresh by taking over its cooking show, Unleash the Feast, for a Tyrian-inspired episode.
Unleash the Feast is a new live cooking show presented by HelloFresh, one of the largest meal prep kit companies on the market. The weekly show airs each Tuesday at 5:00 PM EST, and features three guest competitors who compete over both trivia and themed cooking challenges.
Guild Wars 2 is Giving Away Free Gaming Peripherals for its 10th Anniversary
Its third episode, airing on August 30, will be presented in partnership with ArenaNet, and features a Guild Wars 2 theme. The three guest contestants–Kroof Gaming, Rookuri, and Emidotexe–are all popular Guild Wars 2 streamers and ArenaNet Twitch partners. Judging from the previous two episodes, the upcoming episode promises to include hilarious gaffes, Guild Wars 2 trivia, and cutthroat competition as fierce as World vs. World PvP.
Unleash the Feast features fun twists on a normal cooking show. Competitors can answer trivia questions on a Jeopardy-like game board or complete special challenges–like cooking with an arm behind their back or replicating paintings with condiments–to interfere with their competitor’s cooking. If contestants succeed, they can remove ingredients or utensils from their opponents’ kitchen or shut off their appliances for a few minutes. However, if they fail, they run the risk of those punishments falling on themselves instead.
