GTA Online Will Be Free for PS5 Owners to Keep
Gamers who redeem GTA Online Standalone for PlayStation 5 will be able to unlock a seven day free trial of PS Plus from the game's launch on March 15 until May 14. During that time, players will be able to enjoy GTA Online and any other online PS5 games that require a PS Plus subscription to play for a week following signing up.
Players should take note that should they take this free trial, the service will automatically bill them at the end of the seven day trial unless they cancel their subscription. It works functionally the same way as signing up for free trials of other gaming and streaming services. Gamers who aren't sold on PS Plus or just want to try the trial should set up a reminder so they don't forget about the end date.
Following the reveal that GTA 5 and Online Enhanced and Expanded Edition was coming, some PlayStation 5 users were confused by terminology in the announcement.
