Grounded, the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids meets survival action game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, just got its biggest update ever. The ‘Make It and Break It” game update allows players to transform the backyard with a new feature called Playgrounds.
Playgrounds allow players to create, share, and play custom experiences with over 300 world art props, 400+ items, 100+ harvestables and even customizable creatures.
The mode also supports advanced logic options including condition checks, logic gates, and timers. These advanced logic flows can all be set up via a number of gadgets such as buttons, switches, levers, and pressure plates.
Playgrounds also supports custom game options, ranging from day/night duration, to survival difficulty, respawn rates, creature scaling, and more.
The update also makes additional tweaks to medium difficulty mode and map functionality. Medium difficulty has seen a 10% reduction in enemy damage and pets have become invincible by default. The map’s functionality has been expanded with icons for milk mullers, collected items, individually named zip lines, and a toggle option for group visibility.
Players can easily share their playgrounds via a code ID, download the content, and jump right in.
Patch 1.3 is rolling out now on Xbox, PC, and Game Pass.
