Back in April, Green Hell VR was released on the Oculus Quest 2. It was wildly successful, topping the Oculus Store’s best-seller list and getting tons of positive feedback from fans. VR adaptation is not an easy process, requiring developers to often build everything from the ground up, and that particular eye for detail is realized in Green Hell VR.
Now, those who were waiting for it on Steam can rejoice and download it now. Green Hell VR released on Steam during the Upload VR Showcase on June 9, debuting with a brand new launch trailer as seen below. To celebrate this release, players who pick it up prior to June 16 will get a 10% discount off its $24.99 launch Price (making it $22.49). This deal may not seem like much of a savings, but for fans of VR and survival games, it’s the cherry on top of its release.

Furthermore, until June 22, 2022, Steam users can get the original PC title, as well as Green Hell VR, for a bundle discount of 20%. In Green Hell VR, the Amazon Rainforest is brought to life in all its splendor and danger. Players take on the role of Jake Higgins who, lost in the forest, must search for his wife Mia. The game requires players to navigate with landmarks, learn about the foliage of the jungle, learn what plans are helpful and which are deadly, and overall, utilize 60 different gameplay mechanics in Green Hell VR (from healing and crafting to hunting and combat) to survive.
