Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS5 Has Advantage Over Other Versions
Grand Theft Auto 5 was first released in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but since then Rockstar Games has brought the game to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with plans to release PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions on March 15. GTA fans don't have to wait all that much longer for Grand Theft Auto 5 to come to the newest consoles, but since free upgrades aren't a factor, some may be trying to decide which version they should buy.
All things considered, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 should be pretty much on par in terms of performance and graphics. However, there is one advantage that the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto 5 will have over all other versions of the game that fans may want to consider when making their purchasing decision.
GTA Online Player Points Out Weird Car Discrepancy
Grand Theft Auto 5 will be taking advantage of the PS5's DualSense controller and its unique features, like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto 5 will use the DualSense controller to help players feel «changes in road surface texture» among other things, like weather effects, directional damage, explosions, and more. And while DualSense support may not be a big deal to everyone, it's still something that fans can only get from playing the PS5 version of the game.
There are other reasons why GTA fans may want to stick with PlayStation if they plan on picking up the new version of Grand Theft Auto 5.
