Grand Theft Auto Online continues to be one of Rockstar Games' most profitable ventures, being the online multiplayer action-adventure suite to Grand Theft Auto 5. Its open-world design lets players freely roam around the city of Los Santos with their friends to play missions, cause chaos, or get up to other silly shenanigans at their leisure. Grand Theft Auto Online got upgraded Enhanced and Expanded Editions earlier this month, which brought upgraded versions of the games to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
These next-gen versions of GTA Online boasts plenty of improvements to the original, taking advantage of the new console hardware. This includes enhanced visuals utilizing 4K resolution, improved textures, 60 frames per second, and faster loading times compared to the previous generation. Players can even transfer their progress from GTA 5's story mode along with their GTA Online character to these next-gen versions thanks to migration features from Rockstar Games. The publisher also announced that a new paid subscription model will be coming to GTA Online, exclusive to owners of the next-gen versions.

This plan, known as GTA+, will be launching on March 29, where it will provide plenty of benefits for new players of GTA Online on next-gen consoles. This includes a recurring monthly deposit of GTA$500,000 to a paying player's Maze Bank Account, along with the opportunity to claim properties around the city of Los Santos. GTA+ members can also unlock gameplay updates that a player might have previously missed, along with other benefits.
