The photo mode in Gran Turismo 7 seemingly makes digital cars look better than their real-world counterparts. Called Scapes in GT7, the photo mode allows players to travel worldwide to over 2000 places to take photos of their favorite car. Once there, the player has many options in photo mode and can customize every aspect of the image and explore options that would mostly be impossible to recreate using real-life photography. The intuitive photo options from Scapes can also be utilized during races, giving players more chances to showcase their win and their photo creativity.

Beyond Scapes and the race photo mode, GT7 offers an in-depth look into a specific car's history, its designs from people who have worked on them, and even a timeline of each brand of car dating back to their creation.
