Love Is Blind Creator Open To Sexually Fluid Contestants After Season 2
In a recent interview, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen gave fans some behind-the-scenes secrets and discussed his openness to including sexually fluid contestants in the future. The first season of the show was a huge success, with the premise captivating fans. They watched as some couples found love, while others found themselves in relationships that crashed and burned. Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas's relationship drew fans in, as the show painted Jessica as the villain who broke Mark's heart. It was clear she wanted to end up with Barnett, but he was with Amber Pike, so she settled for Mark. In the end, she left Mark heartbroken at the altar. She claimed the biggest issue was their 10 year age difference.
Another relationship that broke down in a huge way was between Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack who broke up before even getting to the alter. Diamond had issues with the fact that Carlton withheld that information from her while they were in the pods, and that he won her over with lies. The conversation quickly exploded into an argument in which Diamond threw her engagement ring off and both were hurling insults at each other. At one point Diamond threw a drink into Carlton's face and walked away reciting Beyoncé lyrics while Carlton continued to insult her.
