At the end of 2021, it was revealed that GT 7 would feature Porsche Vision Gran Turismo, a unique vehicle available exclusively in the virtual world of the racing game. The exquisite futuristic design was created by the Porsche team with recognizable nods to some iconic models by the car manufacturer including the legendary Porsche 911. The level of detail and authenticity is similarly high with the car’s interior, which makes an impression of piloting a perfectly crafted spaceship. That level of detail was on display in the most recent showing of Gran Turismo 7.

The first PlayStation State of Play of 2022 has shown over half an hour of Gran Turismo 7 amazing gameplay footage captured in the PS5 version of the game. The latest PlayStation console allows the anticipated racing game to benefit from native ray tracing support, which works wonders with GT7. The PS5 version of the driving simulator features photorealistic graphics using ray tracing, the result of which is the almost real-life quality of lighting and reflections. The real advantage of the technology, though, is the expression of cars since their shiny surfaces accurately reflect the surrounding environment.
