Despite being created by the Arkham Origins developers, Gotham Knights appears to be taking significant departures from the traditional Batman Arkham formula. Firstly, Batman won't even appear in Gotham Knights because, according to the team at WB Games Montreal, his death acts as the catalyst for the story in the upcoming action game. Beyond story changes, there are other things coming to Gotham Knights, such as new suits for the next generation of caped crusaders.
The Batman Arkham series did allow for the iconic crime fighter to wear a collection of different suits, with Arkham Knight granting Batman plenty of new costumes through its DLC and main game. However, with Gotham Knights' developers firmly stating that there will be no microtransactions in the game, it appears the suits coming to the new title will all be earned through playing, rather than buying DLC. In a previous interview, Gotham Knights Executive Producer Fleur Marty stated that each of the game's playable characters would receive 11 suit styles at launch. Now, some of those concepts have been revealed.

Debuted by IGN, fans can now see an early look at 28 of the 44 suit styles that will be available in Gotham Knights. There are some interesting and cool designs for any Batman fan among the new suit styles, including concepts inspired by classic comics and cartoons. There are a few that take clear inspiration from other Batman works. The Shinobi set, for example, seems to have been inspired by the animated film Batman Ninja.
