Giveaway: Win a copy of The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR for PSVR 2
There’s a big update for The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR out now on PSVR 2, with Supermassive Games having worked hard to improve the virtual reality rollercoaster shooter since launch. They’re pretty proud of the improvements, so much so that they’ve gifted us a few game codes to giveaway!
Switchback VR takes liberal inspiration from the main Dark Pictures anthology, twisting up the various stories and settings, from spooky mansions to haunted boats, and turned them into devious rollercoasters filled with enemies to blast away at with your VR guns, and some inventive uses of PSVR 2’s built-in eye-tracking.
Tuffcub had plenty of fun with Switchback VR at launch, but did note that there were technical issues with pop-up, not-so-great lighting and more. This update has added Foveated Rendering, TAA, overhauled lighting, textures, animations, pathing and more, and Tuff now says, “It’s much, much better, it looks and feels much smoother and much more what I would expect a PSVR 2 game to look like.”
