After beating Okina and confronting Hannya at the top of Tokyo Tower, Ghostwire: Tokyo players will once again find themselves face to face with Yaseotoko. This time, however, the boss has a few extra tricks hidden up his sleeves, making him quite a bit trickier to topple this time around. As is so often the case though, where there is a will, there's also a way.
Ghostwire: Tokyo — After the End Side Mission Guide
As well as having KK's body, Yaseotoko also has access to the same Ethereal abilities, with Wind, Water, and Flame attacks once again being on the menu. He now has an impenetrable shield as well as the ability to perform charge attacks though, forcing players to mix up their attack patterns this time around. Here's how players can beat Yaseotoko in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Much like when players fought him in Chapter 2, Yaseotoko will begin by targeting Akito with Ethereal Arts. Players will be able to tell which one he is about to use based on the color of his hands, with green being Wind, blue being Water, and red being Flame. All of his attacks can be avoided simply by moving out of the way of them, though this may prove difficult if players are too close to the boss when he attacks.
In the event that they don't have time to move out of the way, players should crouch (press Circle) to avoid Yaseotoko's Water attacks, while blocking Flame and Wind using L1. As the latter usually follows players around, it can be a good idea to block it even when dodging is an option, as it's better to mitigate most of the damage with a block than dodge and have the attack double back and cause full damage.
As they block and dodge Yaseotoko's attacks, players should also focus on hitting his chest with everything that they have.
