Ghost of Tsushima was a major hit for PlayStation and Sucker Punch as many praised the game's immersive open-world and storytelling. Fortunately, it appears that Sucker Punch is developing a new open-world game featuring a certain gameplay element from Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima centers around Jin Sakai and a tale surrounding the Mongol invasion of Japan. Specifically, the Mongols land on Tsushima Island and lay waste to the brave samurai forces that stood their ground. Following the siege of the Tsushima coast, Jin battles Khotun Khan, the grandson of Genghis Khan, but is no match for the renowned warrior. After being rescued by the thief Yuna, Jin contemplates the way of the samurai as the Mongol threat treads toward the mainland.

Sucker Punch's next open-world appears to have a focus on stealth, which was one of the key gameplay elements within Ghost of Tsushima. A new job listing at Sucker Punch requires an encounter designer with 2 years or more of AAA development experience in stealth and action games. One of the major requirements for the encounter designer position include delivering «interesting and varied in an open-world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth.» Furthermore, one of the bonus factors involved with the job include being happy «working closely with ninjas in other disciplines.» On the surface, the job listing implies a potential Ghost of Tsushima sequel.
