Genshin Impact Version 4.2, Masquerade of the Guilty, Brings Fontaine to The Edge of Destruction
Genshin Impact Version 4.2, “Masquerade of the Guilty”, is coming next week. Fontaine is in focus, and on the edge of a big disaster. The update will bring new zones, two new playable characters, mini games and bonuses, and a lot more on November 8th.
The Primordial Seawater is closing in, drawing ever closer to submerging the people of Fontaine, and it’s all hands on deck time. The All Devouring Narwhal and the Foul are two of the bosses you’ll be able to face, having emerged from the dangerous waters. There’s another boss, the Hydro Tulpa, that has also awakened. This one will be a particular challenge because it can buff itself during combat.
Fontaine’s map expands East, with Erinnyes Forest, which features contaminated lands you’ll have to help cleanse, and the Morte Region. The Tower of Ipsissimus holds the secrets of the Primordial Sea and those mysteries will be important to uncover if there’s to be any hope. The Hydro Archon Furina and the reporter, Charlotte will be new playable characters. Furina is a five-star Hydro sword user and Charlotte is a four-star Cryo catalyst wielder.
Version 4.2 will be out on November 8th and there will be a number of events and mini games, along with bonuses to enjoy alongside the perilous main storyline.
