's Overflowing Mastery event would actually work better if it were a weekly bonus. Overflowing Mastery has been a recurring event in developer HoYoverse’s open-world RPG. Essentially, throughout its duration, players get three daily drop bonuses for Talent Level-Up Materials across Teyvat. This means the first three times they challenge these types of Domains, the prizes at the moment of claiming will be doubled.
Overflowing Mastery is a great way to increase farming results, giving players a better chance at quickly maxing out their characters. Since its debut in May 2021, however, the event has only happened a total of four times. The fact is that ’s Overflowing Mastery should stop being an event altogether, and start being a weekly bonus.

The first three weekly boss fights in Trounce Domains require half the Original Resin to claim prizes, which is a great incentive to run them. Similarly, ’s Talent Level-Up Materials Domains should have an Overflowing Mastery weekly bonus. If players were able to challenge these Domains and get double rewards for the first three times every week, or even run the first three at half the cost, the incentive to farm for these materials would be huge. It would hardly break the game and, additionally, even motivate the laziest group of players to at least run the Domains a few times per week.
Grinding Artifacts in is likely the most exhausting activity in the entire game, but farming enough materials to level characters’ Talents comes right after.
