Since miHoYo released Genshin Impact in 2020, fans have been discovering hidden details around the open world that makes the action RPG even more immersive. One Genshin Impact fan has made an interesting discovery about the wet torches that dot the landscape of Inazuma.
Reddit user PhaNuocChanh recently posted a Genshin Impact clip of them exploring the large zone of Inazuma near some torches that have been dampened by a downpour of rain. Unlike other areas, torches in Inazuma are regularly wet due to the endless thunderstorm hammering the area which makes it an ideal location to notice a small, yet important detail about the ARPG. Just like Genshin Impact fans have noticed some things draw the attention of lightning, while the rain suddenly stops upon entering Genshin Impact cities, PhaNuocChanh's video highlights a potentially useful way of using wet torches to defeat enemies.

PhaNuocChanh's clip begins with the player working on an Inazuma commission as Traveler, approaching and looting a pile of Sunsettia next to a wet torch. Unbeknownst to the Genshin Impact player, this wet torch has been electrically charged by a lightning bolt, and it starts acting like a Tesla coil by striking PhaNuocChanh like many other Genshin Impact fans have been hit by lightning. Before the conclusion of PhaNuocChanh's Genshin Impact video, the wet torch had fired a bolt of electricity at the player, a level 76 Mitachurl, and a crimson fox that tries in vain to avoid it.
