Reddit user Training_Holiday has showed that the current Kamisato Ayaka banner has become the most popular one in terms in revenue by surpassing one of the recent double banners that featured Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi. Kamisato Ayaka has received her first banner re-run in the second part of the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 2.6. The first banner cycle brought two popular characters, Kamisato Ayato and the Anemo Archon Venti.
One of the reasons for the banner's success is probably because it's the longest lasting Limited Banner in the game's history meaning that players had more time to spend their Primogems on it. This banner extension has been caused by an update delay for Genshin Impact Version 2.7. Even though developer HoYoverse has yet to confirm the reason behind the delay, the fans suspect that it's due to the complicated COVID-19 situation in Shanghai.
