Law & Order: Organized Crime brings on Bryan Goluboff as the showrunner for season 3. Goluboff previously served as an executive producer on Law & Order: SVU. Goluboff started working on SVU as an executive producer when the show was in its 13th season. Golubuff’s other notable work includes George and Tammy (executive producer), Mr. Mercedes(writer/producer), In Treatment (writer), and Smash(writer).
Now, Goluboff is being brought on as the showrunner for season 3 of the Law & Orderspinoff Law & Order: Organized Crime, according to Deadline. Goluboff will replace Barry O’Brien, who served as the interim showrunner starting in February. O’Brien will continue his Law & Orderwork as a writer and executive producer during Organized Crimeseason 3.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is not the only Law & Order spinoff experiencing a notable changeover of talents. SVU showrunner Warren Leight announced his departure from the series at the end of its current season. Stepping down from the series marked the end of a long run in the franchise for Leight, who had worked on multiple Law & Order series since starting as a co-executive producer on Law & Order: Criminal Intentback in 2003. SVU has yet to name a new showrunner.
Law & Order: Organized Crimestars Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler and Danielle Moné Truitt as Sergeant Ayanna Bell. With so many changes to the Law & Order creative teams, both Organized Crime and SVU are bound to see some shifts in style as they approach their new seasons. Law & Order: Organized Crimewill air on Thursdays at 10:00pm when the new season begins.
