One such memorable moment came about during a recent match with Reddit user SuperMageFromOW, who shared a hilarious clip of a genius Mercy play that shows one should never trust the healer.
Some Overwatch 2 Players Are Getting the Brigitte Medic Skin for Free
In the clip, Echo and Brigitte manage to corner to the enemy team's Mercy on the Temple of Anubis map, notably one of the maps that won't be carried over to Overwatch 2 when the new game launches later this year. The enemy Mercy realizes she would stand no chance against Brigitte and Echo, especially in a two-on-one situation, and so she decides to emote instead. The Echo and Brigitte respond with emotes of their own, and it seems as though everyone is going to be nice to each other.
The enemy team Mercy jumps up and waves, then sits back down, and that's when the Echo and Brigitte are blasted with an Ultimate from Damage hero Hanzo. While the enemy Mercy acted as though she wasn't hostile, it seems she was coordinating with her team's Hanzo, setting Brigitte and Echo up to be taken out by his Ultimate attack.
