A new pocket monster named Lechonk will be introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and it has instantly become a fans-favorite Generation 9 addition. The adorable pig Pokémon was glimpsed in a new trailer for the upcoming games, which promise to innovate on the usual monster collection formula. The brand-new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer reveals plenty of exciting details about the two Generation 9 titles. Up to four players will be able to team up for cooperative multiplayer, and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also include a large open world for fans to explore on their quest to collect 'em all. Two different professors named Sada and Turo will be included in the two separate titles, and a friendly character named Nemona will spar with the player using new Generation 9 Pokémon like Pawmi, Smoliv and Lechonk. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon were also introduced in the trailer, with the powerful figures serving as mascots that grace each version's cover.

Following its introduction, Lechonk has quickly become the most popular new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet pocket monster.
