Various Galaxy Z Fold 4 rumors suggest that Samsung will be making some ambitious changes to its next flagship foldable smartphone. Given that the leaks for Samsung's previous foldable were mostly accurate, these rumors might not be that far from the actual product arriving later in 2022. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 was launched in August 2021, bringing a couple of surprises to the overall package.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 featured some much-needed improvements over the Galaxy Z Fold 2, including a sharper screen, an under-display selfie camera, and S-pen support, just to name a few. Of course, Samsung's upcoming foldable phone is rumored to have just as many upgrades, if not more. With the latest Galaxy Z Fold 4 expected to release within the same Q3 time frame as its predecessor, the rumor mill has been actively churning out numerous leaks as its release date draws closer.

For starters, alleged renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 were posted by tech tipster Waqar Khan via a tweet and a YouTube video. The leak only includes exterior images showcasing the foldable's new design but suggests it will feature two under-display fingerprint scanners. One of the sensors will be integrated into the main screen, while the other will be situated on the outside cover display, something that hasn't been done before. In late 2021, Korean tipster "yeux1122" divulged some key details about Samsung's next foldable phone, claiming it would feature an under-display camera on both the inner and outer displays.
