Samsung is readying the Galaxy Z Flip 4 for launch soon and a new leak has provided the best look so far at the upcoming foldable smartphone. Samsung is the leader in the foldable smartphone market space but it now has an increasing number of competitors. The Vivo X Fold is a prime example, giving the Galaxy Z Fold 3 a run for its money in markets like China.
However, Samsung has an advantage thanks to the wide availability of its products. Most of its competitors are Chinese brands whose foldable offerings are sold only in China or at best, in a handful of countries. Huawei sells its foldable smartphones in some parts of Europe but not in the U.S. Until the availability of these phones changes, Samsung's reign in this segment will continue.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has shown up in live photos posted on Twitter by tipster Mr_TechTalkTV, but the tweet has now been taken down over a copyright claim, presumably by Samsung itself. From the images, there doesn't seem to be much that differentiates it from the Galaxy Flip 3. The phone still has two vertically stacked rear cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, when closed shut, there is still a noticeable gap. However, upon second look, one would notice there are some refinements to the design. The frame next to the hinge is thinner, and the cover display is reportedly bigger too, though just by a small margin.
