Apple is set to launch its iPhone 14 series globally in mid-September. The company is expected to launch four models this year with some major upgrades. As per rumors, the tech giant is planning to bring major updates to the Pro models of iPhone 14 line up while non-pro models are likely to retain most of the features from iPhone 13 lineup. From a bigger camera bump to an always-on display and A16 chipset, iPhone 14 Pro models are likely to have some amazing features. While there are several reports that have provided new insights into what may be coming, a new leak by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo gives more food for thought, especially about the iPhone 14 pro selfie-camera components.
Kuo in his recent tweet shared that the iPhone 14’s front-facing selfie camera will get a major upgrade in years and the company has locked in suppliers for the same. As per the leaks, Sony will provide the camera sensors for the new iPhone while Genius and Largan will provide the lenses for and the new focus module will come from Alps and Luxshare. For the front-facing camera module, Apple will reportedly have Cowell and LG Innotek. The leaks further says that the new selfie camera would come with features like autofocus that will improve photo and video quality compared to the fixed focus camera we see on iPhone 13 line up.
