Bender voice actor John DiMaggio has spoken out following news that he would not return alongside other cast members for Hulu's Futurama reboot. The popular series was confirmed to be returning to the streaming service in February 2022, almost 9 years after its final season aired in 2013. DiMaggio has voiced Bender since the show's premiere episode «Space Pilot 3000» in 1999.

After fans made their thoughts known about DiMaggio's omission from the recently announced Hulu reboot, the iconic robot's voice actor has opened up about the situation.
