Fuslie, musician and variety streamer, has officially announced that she's left Twitch and signed an exclusive deal with YouTube. Over the past year, there's been a significant shift of top talent from Twitch, where many content creators built their audience, to YouTube, which has been willing to offer massive exclusivity contracts. Fuslie's transfer, however, likely won't come as too big of a surprise to those who have been following recent platform swaps.
In an announcement video shared on YouTube and social media, Fuslie is shown «going guitar shopping.» She picks up a purple electric guitar, strums and gets rocked by feedback, and says, «Not my style.» She then looks at a tiny blue ukulele, pauses, and shrugs. Finally, she finds a red acoustic guitar and is immediately enamored. It's exactly what she's looking for and she goes on to play a song with a group of familiar friends.

The group of Fuslie's friends is especially interesting. The band is composed of Valkyrae, LilyPichu, and Sykkuno. Then there are also two cameos, playing trombone and saxophone. Those cameos are Ludwig and Myth. It's a found family of live streamers that previously were signed with Twitch who have now made the jump to YouTube, all having fun together. In that regard, the video is as much a celebration of joining YouTube as it is a shot across the bow at Twitch.
In her first stream on YouTube, Fuslie talked a small amount about the reasons why she decided to make the jump to YouTube.
