Quickly gaining on Felix «xQc» Lengyel, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is blowing up in popularity in a way that may see him become the most-subscribed to livestreamer on the platform. The Twitch statistics regularly fluctuate as top streamers fall in popularity while others rise and a handful of them jump to YouTube, creating the opportunity for livestreamers like Kai Cenat to rocket to the top.
During a recent Twitch stream, Kai Cenat celebrated 60,000 subscribers with some of his friends and members of the YouTube content creation group called Any Means Possible which Cenat is a part of. Things haven't slowed for Cenat's streaming since he reached 60,000 as the popular Twitch livestreamer has nearly achieved 70,000 subscribers that attend his regular broadcasts. Though xQc has maintained a dedicated following over the years that has kept him near the top of the platform's stats, Cenat is coming close to becoming the number one content creator on the platform, and he passes the former Overwatch pro in one key area.
Twitch is Getting Rid of the Host Feature
By swapping around from games like Overwatch 2, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Minecraft to reaction content and Just Chatting with his massive audience, xQc has become one of the most recognizable names on Twitch. In many ways, Kai Cenat is gaining on xQc, with the former up to 68,303 and the latter sitting at over 76,000, leaving a space of less than 10,000 between them. Because of how quickly Cenat rose in Twitch subscribers from 60,000 to nearly 70,000, it's possible that xQc's dethroning on the platform will happen sooner rather than later.
