Disney Speedstorm was announced in early 2022, a free-to-play kart racer featuring some of Disney's biggest and well-known characters. It's been a little while since we've heard anything about the title since it's reveal, but it's now been announced that Disney Speedstorm will be entering Early Access on April 18 for PC as well as Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders available now.
There are a few things you'll want to know before you head off to pre-order though, the first being that you will have to pay to play the game in Early Access. The full version of Disney Speedstorm will be free-to-play when it eventually launches, but you'll need to pre-order a Founder's Pack for the ability to try it out early.

The Founder's Pack does get you some nifty items though if you're still planning to jump into the game's Early Access version, as you'll automatically unlock Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and another racer of your choosing from a select list. You'll also get 4,000 tokens, 2 golden pass credits, and exclusive racing suits and kart liveries for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and your chosen racer. These cosmetic items are exclusive to the Founder's Pack that will likely disappear upon the game's full launch, so if you want them you'll have to grab them now.
If this is the first your hearing about Disney Speedstorm, then imagine Mario Kart but with Disney characters and you'll have a decent idea of what to expect. There are loads of racetracks based on Disney and Pixar worlds, and each racer will have their own unique ability that you can use during races.
