Fortnite: How to Find and Destroy a Cloaked IO Build Jammer
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2, is here, and players have a lot of new things to mess around with. And of course, with every new season comes a new batch of shiny challenges and quests to complete for extra XP towards unlocking cosmetics on the Battle Pass. One of the challenges players might be working on is the Rebuilding questline, which involves a few steps to fully complete it.
The last step that players will need to do for the questline is to find and destroy a cloaked IO Build Jammer. Only one of these mysterious antennas will need to be destroyed in order for players to earn 40K XP, but the hard part is that the map will not show players where to go at first. The cloaked jammer will only appear on the map once players get close enough to its location, but this guide will go over a few spots where the cloaked jammer can be found, so Fortnite players can break it apart.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Removes Building From the Battle Royale
The cloaked IO Build Jammers that Fortnite players will need to look for can be seen in the image below. They will be slightly invisible to players at first, but once they get close, they'll reveal themselves, and players just attack it with their melee weapon.
The first location for the cloaked IO Build Jammer is at the Daily Bugle point of interest in the northeast section of the Chapter 3, Season 2 map.
There are several other places to find these jammers, and players can see some of them down below circled in red on the map. There might be even more locations than the ones we have listed here, so be sure to search the map nearby you before heading to one of these spots. Once players get close to the jammer, it will appear on the map as a tiny icon.
