The popularity of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 seems to have stemmed from the game's good mix of RPG elements, story, gameplay features, and characters. Now, the gaming community can easily name top-of-mind characters like Cloud Strife or Sephiroth, or identify Cloud’s iconic Buster Sword, even if they are not hardcore fans of the title. Recently, Square Enix highlighted Cloud’s equipment from Final Fantasy 7 Remake and posted concept art of other weapons that players can get as they play through the title.
Given that Final Fantasy 7 Remake ends at a certain point before the end of the story, new players are not yet given access to the entire cast of Final Fantasy 7 characters. Even though this is remedied through Square Enix’s FF7 Remake: Intergrade version and Yuffie Kisaragi DLC, players are likely expecting to meet other characters like Vincent Valentine, Cid Highwind, and more. This also means that fans can likely look forward to an expanded roster of weapons oncePart 2 of the remake is released later on.
