Lalafell are a Final Fantasy 14 race that is accessible for player characters. They are one of the races, along with the Hyur, Miqo'te, Elezen, and Roegadyn, that have been around since the beginning. Their design is based on the Tarutaru race from Final Fantasy 11, and they are the favorite race of Final Fantasy 14 Director Naoki Yoshida.
