Video games don't always end when it comes to the closing credits, or even after all the side missions have been completed. Take Fallout: New Vegas as an example. Obsidian Entertainment's 2010 release has some of the best DLC in all of gaming, and that's before fans have a look at custom-made mods done by the community. There are already so many add-ons to choose from, but this latest mod implements something that some may feel should have been there from the start.
Called «Mojave Express Courier Delivery Work,» this Fallout: New Vegas mod created by CarlZee allows players to finally take on the role of a courier, which is the title given to the player when the game begins. However, despite being labelled as a messenger, the protagonist is shot in the head, effectively ending their career. But this add-on now makes it possible to actually become a courier, which includes having numerous locations for deliveries, time limits, and repercussions for not delivering on time. It even disables fast travel when a courier mission is active, which means the player has to actually travel across the Mojave wasteland or hire a caravan rather than completing each mission in seconds.

It's definitely an interesting addition to the game, with the modder saying that this was something that was originally supposed to be in the main game but was seemingly taken out. The courier protagonist of Fallout: New Vegas can be quite an elusive figure, despite players getting to control them.
