At Gamescom Opening Night Live, host Geoff Keighley introduced a brief and cryptic trailer for Wyrdsong, a new fantasy RPG that comes from ex-Bethesda and Obsidian developers who worked on series such as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. In the short trailer, we hear narration from an unknown person speaking with grand and confusing words about the nature of their reality.
«In the crux of reality, there exists two lies. One before the shadow, and one behind the eye.» What does it mean? We couldn't possibly know, because the teaser is over almost as soon as it began, though we do see a few descriptive elements, such as a castle-like structure, a Templar-looking figure, and a person--or something like a person--with horns on their head.

A trailer like this indicates the team either is a ways off from releasing the game or it's happy to slow-roll the reveal--maybe both are true. For now, we await more news on this enigmatic RPG with a ton of pedigree behind it.
