Dead by Daylightofficially celebrates its sixth anniversary this week with masquerade-themed festivities. Like all the anniversaries before it, Dead by Daylight will introduce cosmetics, items, add-ons, and environmental decorations for the occasion. Dead by Daylight’s anniversary events are a fun way for Behaviour Interactive to engage with its players, but it is also an opportunity to take a look back at the accomplishments made the year prior, as well as what can be improved in the year ahead.
In terms of improvements, Dead by Daylight has dropped a roadmap that encapsulates almost a year of content up to April 2023. Titled the “Year 7 Roadmap,” a full schedule of content with targeted release windows is available, giving players a lot to look forward to in coming months. Subsequent content is not detailed per-se, as that would ruin the surprise of each new DLC Chapter and its associated character additions, but fans have an idea of when they can expect content for the foreseeable future.
Dead by Daylight Is Getting Attack on Titan Cosmetics
Dead by Daylight’s Year 7 Roadmap begins with the content that released this month, namely the launch of Chapter 24, Roots of Dread, as well as its killer the Dredge and survivor Haddie Kaur. Tome 12 will release in July, and a new Chapter DLC releases in September.
Dead by Daylight already announced it will feature a second Resident Evil Chapter, and leaks suggest what characters may make an appearance alongside survivors Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, as well as killer character Nemesis. Chapter 25 and each subsequent Chapter in the Year 7 Roadmap notes a new killer and survivor will be added.
