Resident Evil Re:Verse recently received an age rating, sparking hope that the game might actually launch sometime soon, despite it being delayed from its original window.
Resident Evil Re:Verse is an upcoming multiplayer third-person shooter, which will star characters from the Resident Evil series, including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Nemesis, Hunk, and Jack Baker. The players start out as human characters and face each other using conventional weapons and unique skills. Once a human player has died, they can respawn as a bioweapon, such as one of the Tyrants that stalked the main characters in Resident Evil 2, granting them even more powerful abilities. Resident Evil Re:Verse was originally planned to be given to people who purchased 20212's Resident Evil Village and isn't sold on its own.

The multiplayer horror was meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise, but Resident Evil Re:Verse was delayed out of 2021, with Capcom giving few updates about its progress. The game finally has a release date, as Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Re:Verse is launching on October 28, 2022.
