The Star Wars franchise is known for creating intimidating and cool-looking characters who ultimately fall short of their reputations. Boba Fett and Captain Phasma are two examples, but the ones that stand out the most are the Knights of Ren. In a new preview for Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #25, some of Star Wars' best bounty hunters take on the Knights, and despite their reputation the dark siders find themselves evenly matched with the group of non-Force using mercenaries. It seems that both in and out of the Star Wars universe the Knights of Ren may be all flash and no substance.
Most Star Wars fans know the Knights of Ren as the helmeted Force users who briefly appear in the sequel trilogy of films. They mostly just showed up in scenes to pose menacingly until they are easily defeated by Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, the Knights of Ren existed before Kylo Ren, and we're active during the Galactic Civil War between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. After the Knights were reduced mostly to background henchman in the movies, the comics are trying to redeem the reputation of the Knights of Ren to somewhat mixed results.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #25 by Ethan Sacks and Paolo Villanelli, takes place before Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, centers around the titular group of bounty hunters who find themselves infiltrating a ship belonging to the crime syndicate, Crimson Dawn.
