Disney’s semi-regular fan expo, D23, is back in 2022 for a slew of new panels, announcements, previews, and trailers. The event begins on Sept. 9 and runs through the end of the weekend on Sept. 11.
While some of the events and panels will be live streamed, the biggest events — like the Disney animation and Pixar panel and the Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox showcase — are all being kept under wraps.
Despite that, we know we’ll get a look at some of the animated titles Disney is going to launch in the next few years, along with a preview of upcoming Disney Plus shows and theatrical releases from Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney will also use the expo to show off some of its latest video games, and some additions to Disney Plus that don’t have anything to do with Jedi or Superheroes.
