Disney's Epic Mickey: Rebrushed comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 24, 2024.
In the trailer, below, publisher THQ Nordic also revealed a $60 price for the remake and a $200 Collector's Edition.
Those who preorder either edition of the single-player adventure also get three skins and 24 hours of early access, though the latter offer is not available to PC players.
The Collector's Edition comes with a 28cm Mickey Mouse statue, an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit keychain, a vintage Mickey Mouse tin sign, six postcards, a steelbook, a digital costume pack, and the game itself for the $200 cost.
"Join Mickey Mouse on a colourful adventure as he traverses Wasteland, a world inspired by Disney classic stories," the game's synopsis reads. "Play the 2010 classic along with a variety of upgrades in this enhanced remake of the action-adventure 3D platformer originally released on the Wii console."
The original received an 8/10 in IGN's review. The game had "a stellar story, fantastic characters, incredible cutscenes, and a solid core gameplay mechanic," we said, but also "fundamental problems with controls, the camera, and even continuity."
Ryan Dinsdale is an IGN freelance reporter. He'll talk about The Witcher all day.
