Elden Ring is full of challenging areas for players to complete, with one of the tougher locations being Castle Sol. Given that it holds part of the key to Miquella’s Haligtree, one of the endgame areas in Elden Ring, this makes sense — though recently a trick was found that lets players skip right to the area’s boss.
For many, this strategy will be ideal, as the pathway to Commander Niall is full of enemies like the pesky Warhawks. Further, it can be a bit of a maze to traverse, with most players needing to fully clear the area before they can find the proper route up to Niall. Elden Ring players looking to make use of the shortcut will want to head to the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace. Once there, they should hop on Torrent and ride the horse toward a group of ethereal trees, building up as much speed as possible. Once they arrive at the cliff, they must leap off, making a series of jumps so that Torrent lands on the edge of one of the castle’s towers. If done correctly, the player will only lose a bit of health despite falling a great distance.
Once they are on top of the castle, Elden Ring players can drop to the ledge below and run directly to Niall. Further, if they activate the lift near the fog wall, they can use the shortcut without ever needing to battle the enemies that lurk within Castle Sol. This means that the trick should only need to be done once, making it a great strategy for struggling players
