Omori is an interesting and often unsettling RPG in a style influenced by classic JRPGs and more recent titles like Undertale. As in those games, it is also full of easy-to-miss hidden content, a lot of which can be found on optional side quests throughout. While not essential to the main quest line, completing them adds to the overall impression your actions makeon the game world, and the endings you can receive.

There are side quests in both Headspace and Faraway Town. However, the two regions of the game work differently. Side quests in Headspace are often available to complete at any time, as long as you have unlocked or discovered new areas throughout your adventure, while those in Faraway Town take place in stages over the three days and are harder to track. For those in Headspace, there's always Mari on her picnic blanket to give you a clue about what to do next.
Some quests in Headspace are exclusive to a Hikikomori playthrough of the game, meaning you must avoid opening the door to Kel as Sunny and entering Faraway Town.
