The latest patch for FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is live and features massive balance adjustments. Several of these target weapons, skills, Talismans, and more were introduced in Shadow of the Erdtree, with changes for both PvE and PvP.
On the PvP side, Light Great Swords (like Milady), Backhand Blades, Hand-to-Hand Arts and Beast Claws now deal more poise damage with normal attacks. Attacks while dual-wielding Katanas, Fists, Claws, Whips, Thrusting Swords, and more also deal more poise damage. Furthermore, the throwing attacks from the Claws of Night have seen a poise damage buff.
Interestingly, the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman and Talisman of All Crucibles have been nerfed, with the invulnerability window from the backstep decreased. Since they increase the damage received, their risk vs. reward factor is more reinforced in PvP combat.
Check out the balance changes for Savage Lion’s Claw, Raging Beast, Palm Blast, and more below. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our review, where we gave it a 10 out of 10.
