Pulling from the fantasy title's trailers and lore, an Elden Ring mod allows Starscourge Radahn and Malenia, Blade of Miquella to fight in-game. The world of FromSoftware's newest role-playing game has a detailed backstory, which was created as a collaboration with novelist George R.R. Martin. An Elden Ring trailer at TGA 2021 showed off some of this lore before release, including the epic altercation between Radahn and Malenia.
The lore of Elden Ring is centered around Queen Marika, a deity who rules The Lands Between and served as the vessel for the immensely powerful Elden Ring. A cataclysmic event known as The Shattering left the Elden Ring in shambles, triggering intense conflict between Marika's demigod children as they all laid claim to The Lands Between. Two of these demigods, General Radahn and Malenia, came to blows in an epic battle which destroyed the region of Caelid. Both characters serve as options bosses in the game, and despite one Elden Ring player defeating Malenia in two hits they typically pose a massive challenge to even the most skilled players.

The in-game fights actually manage to reflect the lore of Elden Ring, with both bosses being evenly matched but Radahn eventually falling to Malenia's powerful scarlet rot curse. However, Malenia's second form easily wipes the floor with poor Radahn.
