Sonic the Hedgehog’s Next Game Is a Roblox Exclusive

While may be the next game that nostalgic fans are clamoring for, a whole new generation just saw the blue blur enter into a world they’re much more familiar with. Gamefam Studios, a developer that works exclusively inside of , has partnered with Sega to bring the hedgehog into the multiplayer game officially.

is currently available for a small fee paid through Robux, the official microtransaction currently of . When the game emerges from its development, it will be free to play, with money coming in through the purchase of extra lives and experience boosters. As seen in the demo footage, players can run as Sonic, Tails, or their  avatar through courses that resemble the speed courses in many modern 3D games. The game’s music is reused from other games in the series, and players can unlock up to six classic zones through normal gameplay.
