Elden Ring Player Creates Willem Dafoe in the Game
Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s most recent groundbreaking open-world RPG, has garnered much praise from fans and critics alike for its expansive setting and robust mechanics. However, despite so much to do in Elden Ring, fans have elected to use its rich suite of character creator tools to create their favorite pop culture icons, the latest of which includes fan-favorite actor Willem Dafoe.
Willem Dafoe is far from the first celebrity that has found himself virtually inserted into the brutal world of the Lands Between. In recent weeks, fans of Elden Ring have created Kanye West, Will Smith, and even Adventure Time’s Ice King to an impressive degree of accuracy. FromSoftware’s Souls titles have always let players express their creativity thanks to their broad character creation parameters and wide selection of armor pieces; however, with Elden Ring, players have taken customization to the next level.

Elden Ring’s Willem Dafoe model was showcased in a Reddit post by oEmersonKs, featuring two variants of the actor. The first model is Dafoe sporting a beard and short hair, as seen in The Northman while portraying Heimir the Fool. Dafoe’s second version is a base model of the actor and looks quite similar to his appearance in last year’s blockbuster hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home. Both fan-made creations bear a remarkable resemblance to the No Way Home star and speaks to the flexibility of Elden Ring's character creator.
